This bowl-shaped display piece has been turned from a fabulous piece of Australian Red Mallee Burl (Eucalyptus socialis]. Red Mallee is actually from a species of Eucalyptus. It has fantastic figure and color. One of the great turning woods of the world, it is quite expensive and extrenekt difficult to work. But the expense and effort are well worth it!
The turning here is 11" wide (at its widest) and 2" high. It weighs approximate three pounds; display stand included with purchase.
