Ipe wood, Tabebuia avellanedae, is also called Pau D'arco, Brazilian Ironwood, and Iron Bark. It is a lustrous brown color that ages to a daker brown. A dense, heavy wood with fine grain. It takes a smooth, highly lustrous finish.
