Vase form turned from East Indian Rosewood

July 19, 2020

East Indian Rosewood is a true member of the rosewood family (Dalbergia), and has long been used in high-end furniture making because of its color, figure, and excellent working properties. It takes a super finish as well, which I think is clear from these photos. The vase may be used as a decorative item or as a vase for twigs, grasses (but not anything with water).
