This vase is ideal for tried flowers, grasses. or other similar materials. It is turned from three very different woods, but create a fine palette of colors. Kingwood is a true rosewood (member of the family Dalbergia), and Bastogne Walnut is a very different wood from the Walnut we are familiar with from furniture-making. It is lighter in olor and often has iridescence and dramatic color. Buckeye Burl is a favorite turning wood of mine, and I'm always looking for new ways to use it!
