This vessel presents quite a palette of wood colors: the body of the turning is Canarywood, so named because of its typically yellow color; Kingwood Rosewood is one of the premier tropical American Rosewood, with fantastic color and figure. The top of the vessel is Maidou Burl, one of the most beautiful burl woods in the world. It originates in Vietnam but is no longer commercially available (this is a small left over piece from years ago).
